Will I meet people?

I am 17 and not in school, and have just moved to a new town. I want to get a job to meet new people. I was figuring working at a fastfood restaurant(Burger King,McDonalds,Wendy's etc) to meet people around my age. My question is if anyone here around age 17-22 has met friends working at a fast food restaurant. I have certain "interests" that I think I will find I have in common with the typical fast food worker. Thank you :)





P.S. I AM NOT GOING BACK TO SCHOOL, SO BEFORE YOU GUYS GET OFF ON THAT DON'T. UNLESS YOU HAVE A DIRECT RESPONSE TO THE QUESTION ASKED DO NOT ANSWER.

Will I meet people?
My sister did the BK thing for years in high school and had a lot of friends there. Also a lot of annoying people too. Fast food is not for everyone though and sometimes it's people younger than 17, so if it doesn't work out, don't feel bad. Have you thought of waitressing? Better money, slightly older people but usually a large number of young un's (like at a chain), but still some really fun people.

Reply:Anytime you are around others your age of course you will make friends! Just be yourself and make yourself approachable by smiling and having a good time. Be yourself and people with same interests will come to you! Its really hard to live in a new place BUT Im sure you will find so many friends you wont know what to do with all of them!
