Is trying to meet people on here pathetic?

Ive never tried to get to know or meet a women over the internet, i always thought people that do it are pathetic... seems like everyone is doing now though. Im a guy and i would think there is something wrong with a girl if she can only meet guys online. Do women automatically think guys are pathetic for trying to pick them up online? Do fairly sane and social people do it? Is it a good way to meet new people?

yes it is pathetic. if your 12-21 meet them at school, if your 22-60 meet them at work of at a club, or gym. If your 61- and up, your sol, got me there.

Reply:I welcome meeting new people. I mean, I've chatted with a few people from here...but mostly just friendly flirting,chatting about family ect. But as far as it being pathetic, no, I dont think so. Its pathetic if you are draining your bank account for someone you met on the internet. If you are just getting to know some one new..who knows what could happen.

Looking for someone to talk to is fine... I have over the net friends that I've known now for 6+ years now and have never seen their faces... and weirdly we know each other like we live done the street in the same state...





As far as looking for love... that one is tricky because you never know what your getting into.. for example... I met a guy that I thought was really nice I had gotten to know him and after I didn't come on-line a few days he called me and asked me 101 questions and asking me was I cheating on him!! LOL females are just as crazy so just beware


anyone can befriend you sweetness... you have to seek the person behind the computer... no its not strange or sad or pathetic to seek a friendship or perhaps a good friend... and its not impossible to find love... I have twice.. sadly they both failed because of the distance...that is the most important issue and in both relationships neither of us could more... so just protect your heart but make as many friends as you please.. there is nothing wrong in that... sometimes having a friend over the net is better then having one down the street...
