READ THIS PLEASE.
I do realize many people have asked this. I do know the obvious answers.
I am senior in High School and live in a very small rural town. I have one best friend and my other best friends graduated and left (whom I loved to be with). I love my best friend but sometimes you just need more. I feel like she is holding me back in a lot ways and I just need someone else, a different personality from my best friend. But I still want to remain friends with her, all I want is a change of course and I honestly, don't want to wait because my senior year is supposed to be enjoyable and I don't want to be miserable. So yes, I've joined clubs, I joined a gym, and I got active in the community and in school. But it lead me to meeting the same people, and these people are not people I would rather not become my friends. I gave them a chance, we hung out, didn't work.
So what am I supposed to do? I don't want to meet anyone online either; it's immature. I want to meet someone new.
How can I meet people in my area (that have similiar interests to me)?
www.facebook.com I´ve made lots of friends on it.
Reply:Extending your network is not an easy task, However, there are few ways for singles to meet new people and make new friends. It's true, it's hard to determine which way will help you find that perfect partner. I don't know other ways but online to extend your network, maybe attending classes, but if you reconsider to go online and meet new people I suggest you to consider a site that lets you post what you up to ( your activity) and naturally connect you with people who might want to join you. Those sites helps you meet people in casual way and it's totally free: http://www.wannago.com , http://www.craigslist.com , hope that helps
Reply:join sports teams, clubs, organizations. go camping with people, have a party.
