When and where does one go to meet new people? I've tried different online sites, but don't know where to go.

I work 2 jobs (don't really meet people (guys in particular) through work, Saturdays are spent running errands, and Sundays I'm at church. When does one have the time and where does one go to meet people? Even though I'm working 2 jobs, I'm tight on money (recent college grad). I'm not into drinking and such, so the bar scene just doesn't work. I'm up for chatting online, txting, and talking on the phone, but I don't know where to really go to meet people. It would be nice to have more people in my life to hang out w/ and do things with, but right now I'm just having a hard time making it happen. How does one keep from being so lonely? I'm close w/ my roommate, but we still need more than just the two of us to have the "social life." Most of our friends around are married, so they don't really do anything with us anymore. And Ogden, UT isn't the most exciting city around. Now that I'm done w/ school, I can't meet anyone in classes anymore. So where do I go to find a decent guy?

Dont laugh... Myspace is a good way to meet people in your area. You can search for people in your zip code. Talk to them for a while and see what happens. (you can also look and see what kind of comments they get to advise you of what kind of person they are... lol)
Reply:yes i too work a busy schedule and would like my social life to liven up too so i will e- mail you k. the rest is up to you!
Reply:Church socials, other churches, sporting matches, gyms.
Reply:Sara even if you dont drink alcohol you can still hang out in a nightclub you can have orange juice the point its a place where singles hangout you are sure to meet someone there come girl life is too short just dress go there and enjoy your self take your gf with you and you both would be amazed how many guys would love to hang out with you...
Reply:I'm kind of like you... 22 guy, work full time and get back home at 9pm to eat and sleep... I only get time to rest on the we, but I wish I use that time to find friends and girls like me, and I don't know where...

It seems like there are lots and lots of ppl like us out there, but we don't know how to find/be found.

But one thing is sure, having a social life again won't come by itself, we have to move our ***! I'm currently listing all the interests in meetup.com to see if there is anything interesting, you should do the same! Once you have a few contacts you can grab your contact's contacts and move on!

(that's just what I've been saying to myself since last month, but I don't see any other solutions...)

So... good luck, never give up, there is no easy answer to that....
