How can I meet gay people in my small town? I can't detect gay or bi people unless they are girlie or effemina

I live in Mexico in a small town.. but I dont know to meet people I feel so lonely withou to meet people from my own preferences sorry if my english is bad I am doing my best thanks for answering well

Many gays come from small towns without any gays :) That feels lonely. I hope you cope. You will. One day you will meet more gays then you would wish :) One advantage for you is that you grow up in the internet age... perhaps you can still meet people online ? ¡Suerte!
Reply:You might want to check out your town and see if their are any organizations for social events, or check the net for a dating service. If you do decide to meet up with someone from the net, take him or her and a friend to a mini golf course. Not only will you have a friend with you, you will have a club in your hand and daylight. =)
Reply:I was told by a gay friend that the way to tell who might be gay or bi is if the person holds your eyes when you look at them. Most people look away in 3 seconds or less (male or female) if they don't know you, so anyone who looks back and holds for more than 4 seconds is interested (or needs glasses).
Reply:Unfortunately, many non-hetero people living in small towns eventually find it necessary to move to a larger city in order to find a decent selection of people like them. There's no certain way to detect this - and sometimes effeminate men don't even turn out to be gay. It will probably take you some time to hone your instincts at picking out other gay or bi people. Meanwhile, you might be better off, and also safer, if you consider moving to a bigger city with a healthy gay community.
Reply:most of my gay friends are in the arts, not that all artists are gay, just that is the community where I have met the most gay people. Many gay people are afraid to come out and tell people in public. I am not sure how to locate gay people, you might have more luck looking on the internet for gay dating sites, that might be a good place to find gay people. I am sure a service exists for that. I have never searched before.





search google for gay activist sites, i am sure they exist, if you become a member you should be able to find more gay people that you can hang out with





good luck with that, I know it is difficult to feel isolated and alone and different from everyone else, in a city where not many people like you exist. I grew up filipino in a city that was probably 70% white and did not grow up around many filipinos. It is not the same as being gay, but I felt different then my other friends.
Reply:Not sure that the small town mind set is ready for you. Depends on where you live and how safe it would be to come out..I'd vote for basic dating type,internet or others to maybe get an idea if there are others that feel the same ways as you.I am a very big supporter of Gay/Lesbian rights and always fear for you from the less educated religous and not so accepting right.So be careful,have fun and good luck hope you find a real group of people that you can feel free to be your self with.I applaud you and support you, and I am a voter for your rights and decent treatment.You GO Babe!!
