How did you meet gay people in your life?
i start meeting gay people when i was 13, 14 in school. there was certain feeling assure me the guy was gay. nothing happened though. when i was 16, i met gay guysin public gym again. some seduced me in the locker. nothing happened though. then i start meeting them more and more often, shopping, on the street, in club, friends of friends....
Reply:With difficulty. Bars and cluybs are always a good start, but if there is none in your area, the net is always a good starting point.
Reply:When I first came out I was involved with lots of queer activist groups, as well as film appreciation groups and literature on campus groups; where people had similiar interests or political beliefs and just happened to be queer as well. Then, I shared a house where all the people were queer, or bisexual and I met alot of people through those people. Later, I found the internet, and went on myspace as well as gay.com (but I wouldnt recommend anyone to gay.com unless you are looking for particularily insincere and superficial type people). Also there are quite a few other gay specific websites like: http://www.planetout.com/http://queerlounge.org/http://www.outpro...

I just did a search in my area, and certain groups came up.
Reply:The same way people meet anyone, in all different situations. Bars, the Mall, work, the Grocery Store...
Reply:You don't make any sense. What makes you think you need a "place for gay people" in order to meet gay people? You meet gay people just as you meet EVERYONE ELSE in your life. The fact that people don't wear their sexual orientation on their foreheads is a good thing--it's none of your business until you become close to them anyway.
Reply:When your a furry you don't have to look hard to find a gay person or animal should I say. It kind of comes with being a furry.
Reply:outfreind.com (use to be myrainbowspace.com) downelink.com is a reallllyyy good site... crushspot.com is for straight people but has a large gay, bi and lesbain population... ummm lol thats all i can think of online but google local gay bars in your area or something
Reply:Ooh I would have to say, parties, bars, and the mall. *sighs* The mall, Someone is bound to look you up and down at the mall, then when they do, move in buddy. Gay hookup sites suck, so you can check www.myspace.com. Browse, then put the age, gender, and zipcode, city and search! Viola sexy papi!
Reply:I met most of my close friends through other acquaintences and through the volunteer work I do in the GLBT community.
Reply:You name it ...I met them there...they were everywhere..
Reply:Try Yahoo groups and see if there is a local or statewide group for gays in your area. That's how I got involved in my state/community. It was VERY supportive!!!
Reply:myspace has a lot of gays and gay sites!Just have to find em!
Reply:I have met gay people just by saying hello to people.

I have met gay people at church, work, the theater, movies, restaurants, on the street, in gay AND straight bars.

When one finds oneself in a small town in Mexico, Taiwan, Georgia, Texas or Uganda one allows oneself to be found!
Reply:I met my first boyfriend when I was in a community musical play. There were some other gay men and women there too because of attraction to the theater and other arts. I live in a small town now and it is difficult after being in a large city most of my adult life.
Reply:I joined the Liberal Party.

good times

(and i'm not even gay...!)
Reply:You probably already know people who are gay!!! Think about it.
Reply:I would say I only have one close gay friend. Umm, I usually meet gay guys at big high school/college parties. I work at abercrombie, so I see young gay guys all the time who try to hit on me. I think it's funny.
Reply:i haven't , and hope i never will.
