How can I meet people?

I am not a really outgoing person. I am in college, but I don't care for the party scene. I do things I like, but don't really meet anyone, let alone girls. I am kind of a simple person, but I can be funny and my friends back home say I am fun to be around, I just don't know how to meet new people. I am really lonely and need someone in my life. If anything, where could I find more help?

Meeting people is a skill. Like any skill, it can be learned. You don't have to spend the rest of your life being lonely. You are not alone. There are HUNDREDS and THOUSANDS of people like you. The problem is that most stay home and never meet each other, prefering just to avoid life. Dont make this mistake.

Reply:you have a place that has all kinds of girls and you can't find one maybe your so shy your not going out. Best thing to do is go to fuctions, frstivals, games, and other activities where there will be girls and ahve a looksy and maybe you will see one. Or else make as many friends as you can abd they can help out
Reply:In college I joined a club that was related to one of my interests. I met a lot of wonderful people who became my friends. Members have even asked me out.





Your college should have some interest groups that might appeal to you. Check with your Student Association.





When you say you're not really an outgoing person, are you shy? Try the counselling department then.
Reply:I have a friend like that. I told him to go out to a restaurant that has a small bar, and eat your meal there. Like Outback steak House. My friend did this and he found someone. You can also go on a singles cruise, if you get the time.
