Where do I meet new people in Los Angeles? I'm a guy, and 26.?

In 2 weeks, I'm moving to Southern California (from Northern California), and I don't know anyone here. I'm a 26 year old guy. Where do I meet people here. Are there any events or clubs. Direct me to some good websites for this.





I'm pretty much down for anything, but going to clubs to meet people is not my idea of making quality friends. I rather make some good friends first and hit the clubs with them later. I'm also not crazy and I don't do drugs....so I want to meet some other normal people too.

When I first moved here, I met most of my friends through ski clubs.





Also, if you like fine dining, try http://www.TastyLA.com. They do dinners for 6 at nice restaurants.





You may not fit in with LA people, though. EVERYONE is a friggin lunatic.

Reply:Well if you are normal I am sure you won't have any trouble finding some nice folks to hang with....I don't know where you will be living...it's a big place, but I am sure you will meet folks from work or pursuing your hobbies...

Reply:What do you like to do? Then join a club or group tht does those things. For example: if you like mountian climbing you join a mountian climbing group
