Whats a good way to meet people other than the internet?

So, I just graduated from high school and I moved to Los Angeles to work. I'm not going to college so I can't really meet people at school and my work is mainly home based. I tried to meet people on the internet but i'm a ugly duckling so nobody responds to my messages. : ( But I always get along with people really well when i meet them in person so I rather meet people that way. I have a lot of hobbies like bowling, surfing, watching movies, and so on but none of those things are things i would wanna do by myself. Oh, and I don't dance either.... so no clubbing for me.. Any suggestions???

Since you're new in Los Angeles, look for avenues where you get introduced and know more people. Check out for Clubs which caters your interests like bowling, surfing and others and enroll for membership. Ask some old friends who might have friends in LA. Extend your hand and friendship to your neighbors, unless you're living in a secluded area.
Reply:Get a dog and go for a walk twice/three times a day... It worked for couple of friends of mine.

Reply:Try joining a bowling league or something. Oh and you don't really need to know how to dance to have fun at a club. Just jump in the middle and nobody will even notice.
