Where can one meet other young, creative and like minded people?

Back in London after some time away, I'm young, early twenties and I have no idea where to make friends and meet other like minded people around my age?

I'm not really into going out drinking/clubbing/partying much so meeting people at these places won't happen...

I like arts/music and I'm well traveled and educated... I thought maybe I could join somewhere like Soho house or the Hospital club in convent garden...

But have found out that vast majority of the members there are a lot older as most young people cannot afford the price of membership (sometimes around £600) and even if they could they would spend it on partying right?

Is there any other place? Could be a members club with a young cool crowd that isn't revolved around late night alcohol binges?

Any tips will be appreciated! x

i would say british library and british musuem, also cafes nearby. keep a lookout on notice boards about groups, clubs and commitees to do with this place.also if you are foreign contact your embassy about societies for example a 'scandinavian society' for those from that area wishing to meet others and socialise. i also suggest the theatre and art galleries, their cafes and notice boards for groups etc.

London is buzzing with ALL types of people..... good luck!
