Good ways to meet new people?

What are good ways to meet new people in ACT? Places that you can generally go by yourself or a couple of friends to meet alot of people? Other than clubs and pubs.

you say no clubs/pubs...does this mean your under 18?





regardless of age, you could -


-volunteer


- join a sports team


- catch a bus/train, and speak to someone who looks friendly...may be easy to compliment them on something...like, i like your watch....you or something.


- walk your dog in a local park...and smile and say hi to people you pass.


- take some dancing classes... [its a real hit with the girls!]

- go to your local skate park.


- meet your friends friends.


- throw a party......get people to invite people [maybe not a great idea.....]


- get your 'rents to take you on a holiday, maybe up here to the gold coast - loads of lovely people up 'ere.





just always be confident, and always smile....be outgoing and it may be uncomfortable to start up a convo with a complete random, but you guys may become the best of friends...
