Best way to meet people in a new town?

I just moved back to my home town and all of my friends are gone. Usually, I make friends and start relationships from people I meet while at work or when I was at school. Except, my new job is with married older people and in no way would I hang out with them.





I'm 25. I've joined a gym. I'm close with my family. The problem is I don't have a chance to meet new people close to my age to become friends with or meet a girl I can start a relationship with.

Best way to meet people in a new town?
This may sound really silly. . .but I moved to a place where I knew no one and I just looked for people on myspace. In the end I made friends and fell in love!

Reply:The supermarket - vegetable or meats - ask questions about how to pick out or prepare. Or walk a dog in a park.
Reply:lol the guy below me is right, except you get a lot of trashy girls on craigslist, unless thats what you want, i suggest joining whatever event is going on. Im sure theres something where a lot of younger people will be.
