I want to meet people to play D&D.?

I want to meet people to play Dungeons and Dragons whats a good way to go. We have a local comic book store, but all the people who hang out there are creepy, not very intelligent, and smell really bad! I want to meet "normal" people to play. Where would you go? Or how did you meet people to play with?

well my boyfriend plays sometimes, when he use to play alot he found a local magic the gathering shop and got together with some of those people, try calling some collectibles shops and see what they have going on near you





EDIT: or gaming shops





edit: go here and enter a city and state close to you and see what there is, but this may not be the only thing, these are just sanctioned places.
