Will i meet people?

I am 17 and not in school, and have just moved to a new town. I want to get a job to meet new people. I was figuring working at a fastfood restaurant(Burger King,McDonalds,Wendy's etc) to meet people around my age. My question is if anyone here around age 17-22 has met friends working at a fast food restaurant. I have certain "interests" that I think I will find I have in common with the typical fast food worker. Thank you :)





P.S. I AM NOT GOING BACK TO SCHOOL, SO BEFORE YOU GUYS GET OFF ON THAT DON'T. UNLESS YOU HAVE A DIRECT RESPONSE TO THE QUESTION ASKED DO NOT ANSWER.

Yep! I was a manager at McDonald's for 4 years, and I met some of my best friends working there! My current best friend was a shift manager there when I started, I was a bridesmaid in another shift managers wedding, and I am currently dating (and planning to marry) My old restaurant manager! Plus, I was friends with almost everyone there, my co-workers, the people who worked for me! But even though I met a lot of people I liked, I'm warning you, DON'T get a job at McDonalds if you wanna work in fast food. The company is run by complete douche bags who don't know their @ss from a hole in the ground!


And what do you mean by "certain interests"? You do drugs? In my experience, most fast food workers are junkies. Not that that's a bad thing, we turned our McDonald's into a full blown crack house. lol

Reply:Try church functions. They have teen dances, trips etc. You will meet people at any job, not just fast food.
