People You Meet In Bars?

Anyone noticed that alot of people don't go out to meet people? The are just trolling the bars. They don't want to meet someone. I hate it because I would rather meet someone who isn't there to just interogate me, but wants someone in their life and not just a quickie. I am not giving up, but just would like to know what you do to avoid these people, how can you tell they are trolling or am I just being naive about this. Is everyone trolling? Am I trolling? I am probably going to start being rude to people because when I am nice to them they just take advantage of my time and personality.

Just ask them....Why they are single.... to determine if they are trolling. Unfortuantly in the gay dating scene SEX comes first and then the relationship follows, but only if the sex was worth going back for more lol.

I don't go to bars too often but I am going this Saturday night with a group of close friends. I love a good drag queen show and I love to dance but I never go there expecting to meet anyone. I am 50 years old. I outgrew picking up women in bars years and years ago. What the heck does it get you 99% of the time but trouble? Besides, if someone goes home with me so easily from a bar, she probably is the type who will go with anyone after a few drinks. Yuck-O! No thanks. I don't play those silly games or one-nighters at my age - especially with all the STDs out there. Not safe!





I don't ever know who is trolling until they start coming up and on to me but I know when it is happening.





Just be careful, sweetie. Are there any gay coffee houses in your area where you can meet and chat with people?

Reply:There is a bar I frequent that is a neighborhood bar in a historic part of town. I go more for the conversation and the regulars than to troll the place. You can tell when someone comes in to cruise though because they are not a regular and they stay quiet.
