Whats a good way to meet young people (20's-30's) other than at a bar?

Im in my 20's and want to meet some new people to hangout with but i notice that most my friends are people ive known for years. I think i forgot how to meet people.

Whats a good way to meet young people (20's-30's) other than at a bar?
go to public places you have never been before. broaden your horizons so to speak and meet the people there. diversity is a good thing.
Reply:You can meet on dating sites, call chat lines, myspace, yahoo personals, church, friends of friends just ask them to hook a girl up or craigslist...there are some hotties on there. Just meet them in a public place or with a friend the first few times to be safe.

Reply:Join a gym, dance class, internet cafes, grocery store, malls, and coffee shop places. Just to name a few.

Reply:try Internet dating it is not bad just chat a lot, then move up to phone conversations prior to meeting. Always meet in a very public place in case they turn out to be a nut job

Or do vollunteer work at places like SPCA etc.





Or go to church, I know many people who made friends there, not my scene, but it seems to work.





Good luck, I have been in that situation myself, and it takes guts to break away from your comfort zone. But it is worth the while!

Reply:Join a group that has similar interests to yours. If you like doing crafts or arts then join the art community in your area. If your into sports then join a sports organization, etc. This is a great way to meet new people as well as people that have similar interests.

Reply:i dont know what state u live in but at church they have alot of young singles and a lot of activities. even a single night out at alot of differnt places. this chruch is in whittier california
