What are good places to meet people in Cincinnati, OH?

I live outside of Cincinnati and have been losing touch with alot of my friends lately. But it's been so long since I've had to meet new people that I honestly don't know where to go.


I used to meet people at work or at school, but I'm currently unemployed and I've been out of school for about 3 years.


So where can I meet people here?

Go to somewhere where people have similar interests. Check the Yellow pages. Like Theater? Join a Community Theater Group (over 22 in the Cinti area). Like music? The Opera's season is over for this year but they usually need volunteers. Check CityBeat for local music spots (the listings usually say if there is a cover charge. Without knowing any of your interests, I have run out of top-of-my-head suggestions. Good luck, being alone when you don't want to be is a pain.
