What are the best ways to meet people, friends, girls etc when traveling?

I travel in the winter time for 3-4 months every winter. I run a landscape business and stay very busy during the months between middle March and midde November, and do not have really ANY social life much during that time, so this travel period is my time to find somone.

I want to meet friends and possibly a girlfriend overseas, but when I travel, I always find myself a bit lonely and difficult to meet people for long term relationships.

What are the best ways to meet , especially a girlfriend you think, in for example , Europe? (if going there)

p.s. I was thinking, if i could take a class or something , like an art class it would be nice , but I really think that would be expensive. but I am thinking of picking a selected city/town to visit and staying in one place (area) for the full 3-4 months this time, instead of traveling around a lot.(as it is interesting, but kind of tiring as well, and lacks depth or appreciation sometimes)

Thanks for you answers !

Reply:Don't stay in your Room first off.

People look one of two ways, angry or happy (maybe a slight variation of one or the other.)

If they look happy say "wow, you look like you just got back from a vacation." or if they look angry, say "wow, you look like you could use a vacation." Then it open's the conversation to let them know you are on vacation yourself and you were wondering where good places to go are? Then ask, where do you go to have fun in this city? or in your spare time? etc. whatever works for you. (I'm in travel can you tell? ) hehe

One of my friends is recovering from a near death car accident from March 3rd, yes, still recovering. Anyway my husband and I took him on a cruise and he must have met 30 people by showing off his scars from the accident. Everyone on the ship kept calling him Shark Bite. Get a scar, get a story, its works!!!...j/k

here's my travel site if you need to still make arrangements I'd be glad to help. http://gatestravelsite.com or if you want to own your own commissions from booking online like you usually do http://mytravelanswer.biz Good Luck, let me know if it works!
Reply:Why don't you go to Asian countries? There are a lot of beautiful places and Asian people are very nice and friendly.
