Places to meet new people in Houston?

what are some places to meet new people in Houston?

OTHER than religious places.

Places to meet new people in Houston?
If you like wines, there are a lot of wine bars in town. The best wine bar is the Tasting Room, which has 3 locations - Uptown Park (610 at Post Oak), Midtown (Alabama and Kirby), and Downtown (Bagby). There is also other ones such as Cru at Woodland Town Center, Vino 100, Wine Bucket, etc.

If you like to work out, Memorial Park is great - lots of runners/joggers/walkers. People at Houston are all very friendly - the Southern hospitality mentality, so you can just walk up and ask people questions. Never know.

Another good place to meet people is Central Market, which has 2 locations - at Galleria area (Westheimer and Weslyan) and at Woodland Towncenter. It is a large supermarket with classes as well as lots of people shopping and discussing.
Reply:Try picking up a Leisure Learning University paper or checking their mini class schedule out online. Terrific little classes and tours in arts, crafts, camping, hiking, sports, dancing, cooking, poetry, sorts of interests. There you can meet people with interests similar to your own. Here is their website:

The best and most lasting friendships I have made in my life, I have met in church. Number one is Jesus! Try church! I don't mean to go against your wishes (Other than) but I always try to give the best answer I can in all of the questions I answer. God bless you and keep you always!
