How to meet new people in Rome?

I would like increase my sosoical network and make some new friends. I live in Rome but I am from Bangladesh. I went to USA for college. But taking a break now and the worst part I don't speak italian. I woulld like to meet some italian people (or anyone who I can talk to in english) for hanging out with or go to movie or something. I am 22 years old male. So I am looking for people around that age. Any suggestions?

How to meet new people in Rome?
I have frequently changed countries and I always find that it takes a long time to get to know locals. So, if you REALLY want to meet Italian people, give it time and it will happen. In the meantime, to keep from being lonely, start with foreigners. It is usually faster to get to know foreigners where ever you go. That is because many foreigners are also trying to expand their social circles.

I have found some websites for foreigners in Italy and specifically Rome. Check them out:

In addition try Meetup.com . Meetup allows members to find and join groups unified by a common interest, such as politics, books, games, movies, health, pets, careers or hobbies. You sign up for activities that interest you, and you will get an email when the group will meet.
