I'm black. I feel like it's already hard to meet people just because people aren't attracted initially to me at first. Secondly, I think I have some sort of avoidant personaity disorder so it makes it hard to meet people. I like to be around people, but social interaction makes me nervous although once someone starts talking to me it's hard to tell. What I'm wondering is where do you suggest I meet people. I've gone to church, but it's hard to go alone and meet people. I'm trying to get in some activities, but it costs money that I don't have. Oh yeah, and I'm also in my mid 20's. I'm petite, cute at best. What do you suggest?

Try joining a club in your area where you can meet people your own age who share your interests. Or take a class for fun at a local community college.
Reply:Go to Barnes and Nobles. There are some cutes ones lingering around there. Hey, not everyone who goes to bookstore are geeks or nerds! I go there but I know I am not bad looking! lol
Maybe you need more confidence in yourself and If you feel that you have one, ladies will come to you. alls well.
