Should I meet up with these people from the internet?

I was a member of 360 for about a year and made some good friends on it, but in April left because of issues I had with it. However, I kept in touch with some of the people I met on there and met one of them recently. He said they have meet-ups the 360 people go to and invited me to one next month. If I go, I'll meet all my friends off the site.


However, several of them froze me out after I left, maybe because (being online and never sure about who people are) I pretended to be a bit older than I really am. They know the truth now, but I'm worried if I go then something will be said. On the other hand, my close friends from there really want to meet me and vice versa! What should I do, I'm in such a dilemma.

Should I meet up with these people from the internet?

Reply:never met up w/people ya don't know some might be ok but if u get into meeting the people u just say ok even if ya don't know them and most people who asked that are like kidnappers and junk hope it helped

first place. I think our young folk are very naive or ill-advised


to take it to the phone or meeting face-to-face. There's just


too many negatives (and actually happenings) for whatever


the miniscule perceived gains may be.

Reply:Hon, whenever you don't feel comfortable about going somewhere, stay away. You really don't know what may happen, and could be trouble that will ruin your entire time there. You'll make other friends. Oh, and btw, I left a chatroom about four years ago, and never joined another.

Reply:I suggest not meeting a group of them, but meeting one at a time instead. Also, bring a friend along so you're totally safe. The internet is a very deceiving place you know - people aren't always who they say they are. Good luck!
