If you could meet any 10 people in the history of Earth for dinner, who would you meet and why?

I would probably meet two sets of my great great grandparents (there's four people....) and my grandpa because I never met him before he died.....(five) Jane Austen, (OK, OK, I'm selfish!!!) Abigail Adams (seven!!!) a survivor of a tragedy (9/11, tsunami, etc) Marie Antoinette, and the tenth person would be any poor soul who would want to meet me for some reason or another.

I'd meet my various anscestors because anscestry and family and where I come from means a lot to me and I'd be interested to see if I look like anyone. And I think it would be nice for them to meet me. And I really want to meet my grandpa. (RIP)

I'd meet Jane Austen because I LOVE her and her work, and I'd want to discuss ideas with her, and most of all be SARCASTIC AND FEMINIST WITH HER! (wooh!!) And I'd want her to read over some of my British Historical stories.

I'd meet Abigail Adams because she's a role model and I'd just want to discuss life and ideas with her.

If you could meet any 10 people in the history of Earth for dinner, who would you meet and why?
nice essay, Jesus, his Mother, Nephretiri,

Lucy (the oldest ancestor of mankind female skeleton, which has DNA markers found in all the rest of us.) My Indian great greats, Mohammed,

Princess Diana, two left...Socrates, Dianas sons, skip my great great Indian grandpa.

Jesus, most important person that walked this earth. His mom..why not, Nephretiri, explain that pyramid stuff..Lucy, who are you what went on?

great Indian grandma, family lost traditions, Mohommed, who twisted his words, what were his intentions?, Diana, who killed ya, her sons, obvious. to dine with their mom. Socrates, similar thought patterns, long chat.
Reply:1. I would meet my grandfather, because my parents always told me how much we connected. I was only one when he died, so I never really got to meet him.

2. My second choice would be Jesus because I am a Christian and he could answer so many questions I have.

3. My third choice would be V.C. Andrews because I love her books. And it would be interesting to learn about her early life because she was forced to live in a wheelchair.

4. Harriet Tubman would be my forth choice because I want to hear what she had to say about slavery and hear some things she witnessed in the Underground Railroad.

5. I would also meet someone from the Columbine shootings because I want to know what they were feeling when all that took place and what it was like for the two murderers at school.

6. I would also like to meet my great-grandfather because we were never really that close because he was my great-grandmother's second husband. I knew him until I was twelve but we never really had that special connection I have with all my other relatives.

7. My sixth choice would be my great-grandmother's miscarried child. Just because she was family and no one ever got to meet her. I want to know what she is like.

8. Steve Erwin would be another choice because of all the things he did for animals. He was amazing with his kids, his wife, and pretty much with everything he did.

9. Another person would be Jesse James because I am related to him. I also think it would be neat to meet the famous outlaw and see what he was like and ask him why he did some of the things he did.

10. My tenth and final person would be someone like my great-great-great-great-great grandfather or grandmother to learn about my family history.

James Watt

Pierre Culliford - "Peyo"

Ivan the Terrible

Why? Well, I'd love to know why they did the things they did.

Why did Cleopatra do what she did? Was she as beautiful as they said?

Ghandi and Mother Theresa - Their views on how the world is doing now and what we should be doing?

Ivan the Terrible - Czar of Russia - To see a man who could end up hated by so many and keep a country so isolated.

Pierre Culliford - the creator of the Smurfs. I'd love to meet him and find out how and why he created the Smurfs. I'd also like to get some insight into how he came up with the names and characters, especially Gargamel.

Madame Currie, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, James Watt - I'd like to know where the ideas came from. How much work was involved in their creations and find out what they think about their contributions to the future. James Watt is also a distant relative. I'd love to know more about my family tree.

Freud - He'd round out the group. We'd end up having dinner turn up into a therapy group. It would be very interesting.

Reply:I'd like to meet my future husband! Does that count?

I'd pick most of my favorite artists to meet, like Tegan and Sara, Chris Carraba(sp?), Ellen Degeneres, Rachael Ray, and I'd use the other spots for friends I already have and my dad.
Reply:My paternal grandfather because he died before I was born and I think I get my desire to be an entreprenuer from him. My maternal grandmother who also died before I was born, because I've heard so many good things about her. Other than that, Oprah, for obvious reasons, Martin Luther King, Bono, Mother Theresa, Barbara Walters, Princess Diana, Former President Clinton and Michael Jackson (yes, Michael Jackson. Despite the allegations, he is still one of the most talented, interesting and unusual people on the face of the earth).
Reply:I would want to either meet my grandma Helen who died 4 years before I was born or Annie Oakley because she's like my million greats' aunt or something so it would be cool to have a chance to meet my grandma or her.
