Where can i meet gay people that are my own age???

i am 16 at the moment, i have just come out about being gay after about 4 years of knowing, although i am not 100% sure that i am 100% gay.

i have had 1 experience with a boy, which was when i stayed over his house years ago, but this is not enough i would like to acctually have some friends that are gay and my age does any1 know any1 who is 16 and gay and living in LONDON, especially in HACKNEY because i would like to get out and meet some more people but i do not have a clue where to go.

on other questions i have read people have said that you will mainly meet people at school or college but i dont go college, i work, got very bored of school so i thought i would take a gap year but i am now working and have had a promotion and loving it i dont want to go back to college, the only reason i would go back would be to meet more people but i dont want to be weird and go to college to meet anover guy plz help me some1 and tell me somewhere i could go to meet someone.

Those are just a couple near you. well i think they are lol.

I found them through google with this entry

"G.L.B.T support group in near Hackney london"

Im sure there are many others!!

Have fun, get out there and meet some fun people.

I would suggest some sort or support group rather than a dating site.

Dating sites can be very dangerous Esp at your age. You really should never meet up with people online Esp Where you are an experimental Gay, Bi, Curious. That can be especially dangerous.

Hope this helped some. be careful stay save and good luck!!

Reply:Well, I'm not one to question whether you are completely sure if ur gay or not, because 12 is a pretty young age to start, like you just about get into girls at that age, but it is your

preference,

well congrats on coming out,

I'm not gay myself but it is accepted quite freely where i am (CAMDENNNNNN not far from hackney) but i wouldn't recommend going back to college if your main objective is to meet people, but if you do go to college i suggest investigating the social aspect of the college, like in some colleges most of the students are those kinda gangster wannabe rudeboi's who are highly prejudice again gays, i would suggest aiming for a more indie cultured college, (La Swap North London for example) since they seem to be more accepting,

if you dont wanna go back to college try going to some partys or some raves always good place to meet someone, try and catch them before they get too drunk.

I think ive said too much for someone who isnt gay but i hope it helps. Alsoim only speaking from a 17 year old Londoners perspective.
Reply:Online, go to teen sites for LGBT's.

Real life? Gay straight alliance?

besides that, ooh, tough luck.
Reply:Try dating sites,

myspace.

just google them(:
Reply:bars, clubs, groups, plays
