Back in school, it was easirer to make friends, meet people but down when you get older where did you go to meet people?


I am unemploymend at the moment, and looking for another job, had to leave my last but you dont always meet alot of people at work.

I met many of my offline friends, via a local social internet site...others I met through friends I already had.





You can also try meeting people through joining local clubs or civic groups, doing volunteer work, taking a class, taking up a hobby, or meeting people at local festivals or cultural events that have similar interests to you.

Reply:I'm 29, I've met most of my adult friends through other friends, I've befriended neighbors, and women that I've met at the park when i take my daughter... Every year I host a cookie exchange before Christmas and invite all the girls and ask them to bring a friend of their own, its a great way to meet new people. So try hosting some type of party where your friends bring their friends. You can also enroll in college classes and meet people at the gym... the possibilites are endless.

Reply:I run into that same problem... Probably the best thing is to get involved in some activity that you enjoy like an art class, a cooking class, some other hobby, etc.
