How do i meet people?

how do i meet people in class? i moved to a new town over the summer where i now go to a very cliquey high school. i have a lot to offer, but i just dont click with certain people as much as i'd like too...i never know what to talk about, and eventually, the conversation goes stale. ive met a small group (about 7) of friends, of whom all but 2 are new as well. ive become close with about 3 of them, but i'd like to meet more people. its quite hard, considering im naturally shy, and ive just recently broken completely out of my shell. however, im still a little shy from time to time, even more so without my friends. i know im capable of meeting new people/ making new friends--i met so many at my old school--but its proven to be really hard here. thanks!

well try doing clubs and stuff. i kno thats like a cliche but its true. no one knew me in my school until i joined the drama club and did stuff like raising money for prom. im also a band geek.

no im not really that proud of it but i got to be friends with people all through my high school that way

Reply:Lots of people make a mistake of taking the first person who comes along as there best friend. Don't be a snob be friendly to all. When the right group of people come along that you like, then become there friend. If they do not like you take your time , be friendly , and the right group will come along.

Reply:you're new right? you know, i'm kindda new in my school, too but if you're staying there long enough, you'll find your real friends... just try relating with them, you'll find your friends.

the way i met new friends is by joining new clubs.


being myself and go up to people groups and join the conversation and you can meet new people but I'm also in theater and sports so i hope it help
